Having ensured that my kids had brushed their teeth, washed their faces, brushed their hair, and were looking clean, smart, and ready to smile for the camera, I sent each of them off to school for their annual school snaps. Arriving home from school the kids merrily handed me their paper-proof copies of the snaps taken earlier that day and it was then that I realised we certainly do have a cost-of-living crisis. With the first term of school well and truly under their belts, J & E had their first senior and junior school shots snapped last week. To save some pennies, I decided to order digital rather than physical copies of the photos this year, it’s far cheaper and easier to print my own copies of these snaps on photo-quality paper for those who may wish to place my lovely little ones upon their mantlepieces.
