#LivingArrows – Simple Saturdays 24/52 (2021)

After a busy week being back to our regular routine, we enjoyed a restful weekend starting with a simple Saturday as for once we didn’t have any builders, plumbers, glaziers, or workmen around the house. We were finally free to enjoy a lovely, lazy lay in followed by a family movie. We’ve been meaning to watch Raya and the Last Dragon since it was first released but my husband was reluctant to pay out £19.99 when we already pay for a monthly subscription to Disney Plus, thus we waited till it was included as part of the package. #LivingArrows – Split Saturday 13/53 (2018)

To make our Saturday a little easier Paul and I chose to split our parenting duties into ‘gender duos’, I took E along to her class friends birthday party whilst Paul took J to the beach with the basset for some ‘boys time’. E has yet to make the drive into town without losing her lunch; the fifty minute drive along the windy roads is enough to send anyones stomach skew-whiff never mind having to put up with the plethora of potholes dotted here, there and everywhere along the way. Saturday Shenanigans

It’s a sunny Saturday and if I’m honest I’ve done very little other than play catch up. I’ve wrapped and posted my recent eBay sales, I’ve written and stamped up numerous envelopes for various occasions, I’ve done a last-minute Fathers Day dash and I’ve even sorted through my email inbox. The kids have spent time making dens, running around the garden and building Lego models but otherwise we haven’t done a great deal at all.
