We’ve had a week of the most wonderful weather which was well-timed for the half-term holiday. The kids have spent the past three of four days basking in the glorious sunshine whilst splashing and screaming in the paddling pool. Dozing on the decking whilst laid on the sun-lounger under the shade of a parasol, if I close my eyes and listen to the splish-splash of the water I could well be abroad. After a splendid six week holiday, summer has come to a close, as has August. We’ve certainly had a super-busy, fun-filled month. Here are just a few of the highlights which I have #LikedandLoved during that time. Crete Although it wasn’t the holiday we’d expected, we made the best of a very bad situation and after hiring a car (and getting the heck out of the hotel) we enjoyed beach strolls, evenings out and hopping around Hersonissos. Apologies in advance if you’re growing bored of the never-ending pool pictures, it’s not often that we get the chance here in the UK to spend time in the pool. We’ve had a fabulous day swimming and splashing about at the local water park with the kids. We managed to avoid the queues thanks to our all inclusive wrist bands and grab a couple of sun loungers despite the park practically bursting at the seams with sun worshippers.
