Despite covid restrictions no longer being such an issue, I still feel rather stressed at the concept of getting out and about given that the virus is currently rife especially so in our local area. I am however starting to consider booking activities such as swimming, cinema trips, and once the weather is a little warmer, weekends away at theme parks and such-like. Though it’ll be another year or so before I feel comfortable with the idea of booking a holiday abroad! Thankfully my kids have understood and respected my decisions throughout the pandemic, they have shown such incredible patience…

Welcome to another week here at ‘Homeschool HQ’ – an endless juggling act that leaves both Paul and I completely exhausted by the end of the day, but it’s worth it to keep our little ones happy, healthy, entertained, and educated. Though, I’m slightly concerned that our recycling bins may overflow with bottles at the rate that my stress levels are rising – thankfully the kids are calm, cool, and collected which is the main thing. I’m well aware that people are desperate to see their family and to spend Christmas…

Though I’m still incredibly cautious given that the Covid 19 pandemic is still far from over, this week saw the boys have their first hair cut since February and what a difference it has made! Though Paul wasn’t keen on the idea of having his hair cut as he felt he didn’t really need a cut as he’d been styling and shaving his own hair for the past however many weeks, he too admitted just how good it felt to have his hair cut and it…
I’m so glad that my children actually get along, I couldn’t for one minute imagine having had to spend the past eight or nine weeks locked in a house with endless sibling squabbles… cough It’s been far from easy but let me assure you, the kids have been the least of my worries! J & E have both been as good as gold these past few months, which is admirable considering the stress that they must be under from the endless covid 19 news coverage (even though we shield them as much as possible from this) and the fact they…
