October is one of my most favoured months of the year. I love the glorious golden season and all the quirky events that take place during the autumn months. Here are some of the things that I have #LikedandLoved this October: Halloween-themed Decor & Perfect Pumpkin Carving As I had tested positive for COVID shortly before the half term, we spent the first few days of the holidays keeping ourselves entertained and occupied inside a little like lockdown to avoid unnecessarily spreading any further germs around the area. October has been a quiet month. We haven’t done a huge amount but given that we’ve spent the past two weeks recovering from the lurgy (covid), there’s not a lot that we were able to do other than to ride out the virus. Thankfully we’re all better now other than having such rattly chests that we sound like heavy smokers thus I’m hoping we can march on through till Christmas without having to raid the medicine cabinet. Here’s hoping that can make a return to this routine once Spring is upon us – until then we will cosy up and enjoy the autumn and winter months, snug, safe, and warm indoors.
Whilst autumn is my favourite season, this year it just feels so far from normal that I’ve not been able to enjoy it as much as I would have liked. I have however learnt to appreciate the little things in life, as they truly do seem to make the bigger picture so much brighter during such a dull and dreary time. Though I feel somewhat guilty for listing the things which I have #LikedandLoved during such a tragic time, I will continue to carry out these monthly posts if only to look upon the brighter side of life. Hello Halloween …
