Spring is most certainly in the air; the birds are twittering, daffodils have started to spring from the hedgerows and whilst out walking, I spotted these beautiful snowdrops. I love this time of year as it feels so fresh, so clean and so new.

It won’t be long before the trees are thick with luscious, green leaves and flowers spread realms of colour throughout the hedgerows.…

We all need support from time to time; a helping hand, a second pair of eyes, a shoulder to cry on, a second or even a third opinion, a reassuring hug or simply someone to listen. It’s all too easy to live your life in a haze of ignorant bliss, it’s far more challenging to do otherwise and to be ‘a lighthouse’.

A lighthouse is a sturdy structure which will stand strong and wether the storm, shining its light bright through the darkness, guiding those out upon or lost at sea to safer shores.…

I often find that I spot the most stunning scenery whilst out on the move in the Mini. Given that I don’t really fancy picking up a ticket or worse, a ban from driving I choose to stay safe and click the moment in my mind. Sure thing, I could pull over, get out of the car and take the time to shoot a few snaps, though I highly doubt my kids would be too keen on waiting around whilst I get snap happy, thus I continue to drive by.…

With January coming to a close, I have taken the time to reflect upon the past thirty-one days and to write down the highlights from month gone by. So without further ado, here are some of the things which I have #LikedandLoved during January.

New Year

We celebrated the New Year in style with family and friends who came to visit, those who were unable to join us (as they were on the other side of the Earth) we spent time video-chatting with and overall we had a fun-filled, festive start to the year.
