Though I usually love the autumn months, this year has been an exception to the rule for numerous reasons. Whilst October usually whizzes by in the blink of an eye, this year the days seem to have dragged by and in all fairness, I can’t say it’s been that much fun at all, though I’m hoping the kids feel otherwise as we’ve done our best to be all smiles for their sakes. And just like that, it’s the end of the half-term holidays and the final Friday of October 2022. Whilst I’d love to share that we’ve had an action-packed month filled with fun and frivolities, it’s been far from it. Rather than dashing here, there, and everywhere like most half-term holidays, we opted to save some pennies and enjoy the week as a family resting and relaxing with a range of crafts, games, and a trip to the local swimming baths.
