#MySundayPhoto – Maisy’s First Christmas

We haven’t been out much given that the weather has been so vile of late, that and I’ve spent the past fortnight suffering with sinusitis so severe that I felt much-like I’d taken a hit from a frying pan to the face. I have therefore opted to share a rather sweet shot taken earlier this week, a photo of our beautiful basset hound Maisy sat by the Christmas tree, her first Christmas tree to be precise.

This you see will be Maisy’s first Christmas, she’s only ten months old and whilst we are quite accustomed to decorating the house with baubles, tinsels and all kinds of glittery and glamorous Christmas delights, our dog isn’t entirely sure what it’s all about.…

#MySundayPhoto – Lazy Maisy

Although I usually try to post images of a scenic nature on a Sunday, we’ve barely been out this week due to our recent addition. Whilst we’ve only had Maisy for just over four days or so we’ve already fallen deeply in love with our dazzling doggy.

Maisy isn’t entirely house trained as of yet but she’s trying her hardest and seems to be getting it right 8/10 times. Considering that basset hounds aren’t entirely easy to train I’m pretty impressed with her progress and am sure that give it another week or two we should have a little less mess to clean.…

The Dog Blog – Meet Maisy

Earlier this week we extended our household by adding a further four paws to the pack. Maisy is an eight week old red and white basset whose quite simply the perfect puppy I’ve ever seen. Don’t get me wrong, Molly (our twelve and half-year old basset hound) was and still is super cute but there’s something about Maisy which just melts my heart.

The children seem to adore Maisy, they love to snuggle, cuddle, pat and to play with her. J has shown an incredible amount of responsibility, he has impressed me no end with all the help and support that he has given both Paul and I whilst we’ve been finding out feet with ‘double trouble’.…

#MySundayPhoto – Puppy Love

I wish I had the time to get out and about with my camera to shoot some scenery but with the weather, work and everything else, I have very little time for anything other than doing the essential day-to-day kinda stuff and even that I seem to be slacking with.

Yesterday however Paul and I had a day out as we travelled down south to meet Maisy, our new basset hound pup which we hope to collect in the next few weeks. We took plenty of photos whilst we were there including this rather sweet snap.

I have to say that all of the pups were equally adorable but there just seemed to be something about a particular pup which struck a chord within my heart.…

#LittleLoves – Ugg Life, Baking Bliss & Meeting Maisy

So it’s finally Saturday and whilst I’d love to announce that the weekend has arrived, I’ve barely had time to stop as of yet and come tomorrow I’ll be back behind the bar pulling pints. I really need a little rest but it’s rather difficult at present whilst working two jobs and running a household of four.

I feel as if my blog has become rather bland of late, apologies should you agree with this statement, I am hoping to find some time to spend snapping photos and sharing my stories with you once I’m settled into a routine of sorts, until then I’m afraid this is the best I can muster.…
