September has been a new start for us all and whilst change is a good thing, it isn’t always easy to adapt to. J is now at senior school, whereas E is now a junior- sadly they means that they are no longer at the same school and though I’d expected for them to miss each other, I think that a few hours space each day is doing them both the world of good. I don’t know about you but after twenty-something weeks of living in lockdown, it’s beginning to feel much-like Groundhog day. Each morning we seem to wake a little later than we should, the kids have a bit of tech time whilst I clean and tidy around the house, and soon enough it’s dinner time and half the day has gone by. I feel almost guilty for writing a ‘positive post’ as the past three months or so have been pure hell, yet here I am trying to look on the bright side – it doesn’t seem nor feel right considering current circumstances (by which I am not referring to the pandemic nor the lockdown).
