Summer has arrived, the sunshine is beaming and though it’s still a little windy outside, the kids are enjoying staying up a little later to enjoy a few extra hours of sunshine whilst they can. It’s been a busy month for us all; J has been working hard plowing through his year nine exams, he then selected his GCSE options and has spent the past few weeks with his head firmly buried in various exercise books. Thankfully the stress seemed to lift just in time for his birthday celebrations so we were able to get away to Blackpool for a …
Living Arrows
Apologies for the late post month – I was intending on writing this post earlier this week but unfortunately, I came down with an infection and haven’t been well enough to do all that much other than to rest and wait for the antibiotics to kick in. April seems to have been the month for infections in this household as both E and I seem to have had our immune systems tested with various ailments. Thankfully, we are both now on the mend though our medicine cabinet is looking a little worse for wear. Though the Easter holidays seem a …

Thankfully we had the half-term holidays mid-month so we were able to switch off the alarm and relax for a few days. We ordered and received E’s new bedroom furniture, all of which arrived flat-packed and …

J is now thirteen and, being the very clever and wise soul that he is, no longer feels as comfortable with his photos being shared online. Whereas EĀ who is currently the grand age of nine years old is happy to have her photos taken thus I’ve decided to continue with the #LivingArrows linky, though it will now be on a monthly basis. …
