It’s been a bit of a whirlwind of a month, July is always fairly frantic but this year it seems especially so as we’ve been juggling a series of schedules all of which have been action-packed. Without any further waffle here are some of the things that I have #LikedandLoved throughout the month. Lazing By The Lake With a road closure quite literally trapping us in the village, J and I spent an afternoon enjoying milkshakes, ice creams, and snacks by the lake whilst we waited for the road to reopen so that we could drive home. #LivingArrows – Lake Life 31/52 (2022)

Having spent the first week of the summer holidays winding down and relaxing at home, we finally got ourselves into action and made some plans for the summer, starting with a day out in the Lakes kayaking with the kids. Though J and Paul were both happy to paddle around in the kayaks for a few hours, E wasn’t too keen on having to use the ores to paddle and push herself around the water thus opted to spend the afternoon swimming whilst I watched and took some photos from the safety of the shore. So here we are at the end of July already. The summer holidays are well underway and the good old British weather is in full force as it’s currently pouring with rain outside.
