It’s been a nine-stop month for the kids with various activities both in and out of school. E’s been busy researching rivers, painting pictures, practicing her maths, and photographing local landscapes as part of a project for the end of the summer term. She then received an awesome end-of-year school report and was awarded the book prize for her love of reading thus finishing year five with a fierce smile and a very proud set of parents. J meanwhile blew our socks off as he completed breezed his Duke of Edinburgh Bronze award. He was first at the campsite and …

It’s been a bit of a whirlwind of a month, July is always fairly frantic but this year it seems especially so as we’ve been juggling a series of schedules all of which have been action-packed. Without any further waffle here are some of the things that I have #LikedandLoved throughout the month. Lazing By The Lake With a road closure quite literally trapping us in the village, J and I spent an afternoon enjoying milkshakes, ice creams, and snacks by the lake whilst we waited for the road to reopen so that we could drive home. So here we are at the end of July already. The summer holidays are well underway and the good old British weather is in full force as it’s currently pouring with rain outside. A Dainty Dresser I foolishly purchased a second-hand, upcycled shabby-chic dresser last year which had been painted in grey and at the time seemed to …
My phone is filled with photos of the kids yet barely any of these seem to be snaps taken together, this is slightly frustrating when it comes to sharing photos for ‘The Sibling Project’. I really ought to insist that the kids stand closer together or pose as a pair but I’m more focused on capturing the moment rather than a posey picture. So here it is – my best attempt or should I say my husbands best attempt at a picture of our little ones and the pooch together whilst out on a walk. I’m sure that we will have plenty …
