Without a word of a lie, it’s been one of the busiest December’s that I can remember. At one point my planner looked more like an essay than a list of fixtures and such-like. Thankfully things seem to have eased somewhat following Christmas and we’ve at last had a little time to rest, to relax, and to catch up with ourselves. On that note, here are a few of the things that I have #LikedandLoved throughout the past thirty-one days. The Diva’s Dance Show Unlike all the other Dance Mum’s I don’t lug suitcases filled with twenty outfit changes, seven …
isolation
After ten days of isolation, my son is finally able to return to school in the morning though whether he’s quite ready I’m not entirely sure. Poor J still has a horrid cough, he’s struggling with intermittent headaches and is permanently exhausted, though I think that may be down to the fact that he’s lacked any real routine over the past week. Though many people tend to isolate the positive case in their room, we decided against doing this as it just didn’t feel right. Thankfully J has had some positive points throughout the past week including a brilliant bread …

Smiles for Spelling Once work is out of the way, we then have some lunch followed by a break during which the children usually …
I’m so glad that my children actually get along, I couldn’t for one minute imagine having had to spend the past eight or nine weeks locked in a house with endless sibling squabbles… cough It’s been far from easy but let me assure you, the kids have been the least of my worries! J & E have both been as good as gold these past few months, which is admirable considering the stress that they must be under from the endless covid 19 news coverage (even though we shield them as much as possible from this) and the fact they …
At last, April is over and we are through yet another month of lockdown. I suspect that we will have at least another three weeks if not more being stuck inside, though it’s all for our own safety and therefore I must not moan… (moan moan moan). Despite being stuck within the same four walls, we’ve made the most of our time together – here are a few of the things which I have #LikedandLoved throughout April. Paul Turned Thirty-Something Though we tend to celebrate birthdays by enjoying trips and treats out and about, this year we were forced to …
