Without a word of a lie, it’s been one of the busiest December’s that I can remember. At one point my planner looked more like an essay than a list of fixtures and such-like. Thankfully things seem to have eased somewhat following Christmas and we’ve at last had a little time to rest, to relax, and to catch up with ourselves. On that note, here are a few of the things that I have #LikedandLoved throughout the past thirty-one days. The Diva’s Dance Show Unlike all the other Dance Mum’s I don’t lug suitcases filled with twenty outfit changes, seven …

I had hoped that we’d make it through the autumn term without having to homeschool again but sadly it wasn’t to be as one of us has tested as PCR positive for covid. We’re currently hunkering down at home and have been forced to return to homeschooling for however long we must remain isolated for (that is entirely dependent upon whether anyone else in our household catches covid and whenever that may/ hopefully may not be). Heads Down For HomeSchool J has been busy working on his Maths, Science, English and spelling, whereas E has worked her socks off ordering …

I say enjoy but in reality, I meant ‘to endure’… still, we’ve been busy and it’s good to keep busy! Read I’ll be honest, I haven’t read much of anything other than the news and my email, neither of which has been that much of interest – I really ought to find a new book to read but I haven’t really the time nor the inclination at present. Watched Paul and I have watched numerous box …
After a six-week hard slog, it’s the final week of homeschool before half term finally arrives and we can all take a much-needed break from the books. Though things seem somewhat easier this week, we’ve still been busy ‘zipping and zooming’ around getting as much as we can done and dusted, whilst ensuring that the kids attend their required online meetings and complete the work which has been set. Zoom Ready Biscuit Baking E has rather enjoyed attending this week’s regular Zoom classes as she misses her school friends, whilst J has taken great pleasure in making and baking a …
