October is one of my most favoured months of the year. I love the glorious golden season and all the quirky events that take place during the autumn months. October has been a quiet month. We haven’t done a huge amount but given that we’ve spent the past two weeks recovering from the lurgy (covid), there’s not a lot that we were able to do other than to ride out the virus. Though I usually love the autumn months, this year has been an exception to the rule for numerous reasons. Whilst autumn is my favourite season, this year it just feels so far from normal that I’ve not been able to enjoy it as much as I would have liked. I have however learnt to appreciate the little things in life, as they truly do seem to make the bigger picture so much brighter during such a dull and dreary time.
