Things that I have Liked and Loved in April (2019)

We’ve had such an incredibly active and fun-packed month, here are a few of the things which I have #LikedandLoved throughout April.

Paul’s Birthday

Paul turned the grand age of thirty-six earlier this month, he is technically therefore a year older than me now. Thus, I can and will spend the next four months reminding him and ribbing him regarding our age gap.

Blackpool Sandcastle

To celebrate Paul’s birthday we took the kids out for an afternoon swimming at Blackpool’s Sandcastle Waterpark. We bought wristbands to ride all the slides and the both the kids and us adults had the most amazing day.…

#MySundaySnapshot – The Enchanted Forest 15/52 (2019)

As you may have read in my previous posts, earlier this week we took the kids and the hound to Grizedale Forest for the day. Whilst walking around the woods, we were sure to take plenty of snaps, a few of which I used my lovely lens ball to capture curvy shots with.

I love how the lens ball gives almost an enchanted effect upon the pictures which are taken through it, although it’s really awkward to hold the ball in one hand whilst trying to snap shots with the other!…

#LivingArrows – The Grizedale Forest Zog Activity Trail 14/52 (2019)

As the sun was shining and the kids had been promised, we took the kids and the hound out for the day. We had originally planned to visit Jodrell Bank but due to time constraints we decided to visit somewhere a little closer to home – Grizedale Forest.

It was really nice to get out for the day and to spend time as a family with the hound in tow. There was no rush to return home due to the dog, we could literally spend as long as we liked just making the most of the good weather and the beautiful scenery.…
