So here we are at the end of July already – it’s strange how quickly time flies by despite us having to battle the boredom of being stuck in lockdown limbo. So without further ado, here are a few of the things which I have #LikedandLoved throughout July. The End Of Term & The End of An Era School (or should I say homeschool?) came to a close for the academic year. J is no longer a junior, he has now finished primary school entirely, and come September will be moving on to senior school, whereas E has now finished…
end of term
After almost an entire month of dank and dismal wet weather, we conclude July with a stunning but scorching sunshine day. Here are a few of my #LittleLoves from the past month. Read Other than the news, I’ve not read an awful lot during the past month. I have however been dipping in and out of my copy of ‘Seventy Eight Degrees of Wisdom‘ and I fully intend to fall back into my fiction over the next couple of weeks. Watched Having sucked various streaming services dry, Paul and I have since started watching ‘Call The Midwife‘. It’s not a…

Just like that July has come and gone – I swear I blink and a week passes me by! Here are just a few of the many things which I have #LikedandLoved throughout the past month. The Summer Holidays The summer has finally arrived! Whilst I love routine, I also love throwing it out of the window and living for the moment, which is precisely what we plan to do for the next six weeks. We began our holidays by heading into town to do a little shopping. To our surprise, there just so happened to be a classic motor…
I was intending to write this post yesterday. However, despite my best intentions I decided to cut loose and to celebrate the start of the summer by sharing some bubbles with a bestie. At precisely 1.15pm just as school was officially ‘out for the summer’, rain began to heave from the heavens by the bucket load, the electricity began flickering on and off and it felt far more like winter than summer. Not one to let the weather get in the way, I finished off my jobs for the day, loaded the kids into the car and played summer songs…
