October has been a quiet month. We haven’t done a huge amount but given that we’ve spent the past two weeks recovering from the lurgy (covid), there’s not a lot that we were able to do other than to ride out the virus. Thankfully we’re all better now other than having such rattly chests that we sound like heavy smokers thus I’m hoping we can march on through till Christmas without having to raid the medicine cabinet. September has been a really difficult month emotionally, physically, financially, and in every which way. I’m not a huge fan of November, not only is it one of the most miserable months of the year weather-wise, it’s historically been the month for tragedies and loss within our family, and whilst I’d hoped to avoid such sorrows this year, sadly that’s not the case.
