Following what has felt like the most stressful fortnight of my life, the Doctor has now confirmed that our little man is finally ready to return to school. I can’t tell you how relieved I am to see him back to himself; hogging the television remote, cracking jokes and creating comics. His school bag is now packed and we are more than ready to return to ‘the regular routine’. It’s been bizarre going out without him each day, I suppose it’s how it’ll be once he moves up to secondary school but for the time being, I feel far happier …
