Welcome to this month’s #LittleLoves post, which is part of a series that you are very welcome to join. I was contemplating as to whether to bother even writing this post this month as quite honestly, I’m finding it really difficult to see the positive in anything at present. It’s been an incredibly tough month and I don’t wish to elaborate any further on the details but, I’m struggling. Despite my struggles, I thought it worthwhile trying to find and document the ‘glimmers’ rather than ditching my monthly linky entirely, so here goes… Read I haven’t really read all that much …

October is one of my most favoured months of the year. I love the glorious golden season and all the quirky events that take place during the autumn months. Here are some of the things that I have #LikedandLoved this October: Halloween-themed Decor & Perfect Pumpkin Carving As I had tested positive for COVID shortly before the half term, we spent the first few days of the holidays keeping ourselves entertained and occupied inside a little like lockdown to avoid unnecessarily spreading any further germs around the area. So here we are, at the end of yet another year. I’ll be honest – I’ll be quite happy to see the back of 2022. Saying that there have been some good times, just not quite enough of them sadly. So here it is, the final Friday of December 2022. Another year has passed us by and whilst I’d love to tell you that it’s been a good one, I’m still trying to process and make sense of much of it. Whilst I’m a fan of even numbers (I’m sure I have some form of OCD) I can’t say likewise for the years which have been ‘even’ in number. Let’s take 2020 for example; it was meant to be the year of clarity, clear vision, and Worldwide success yet we all know how that ended… 2022 was similar in some …
Whilst on a personal level Christmas felt somewhat alien this year, the kids thankfully loved every moment of the day. They especially enjoyed the ‘big unwrap’ which I watched from the kitchen whilst multi-tasking between latticing bacon over a turkey breast and sealing a beef joint. After decimating their piles of perfectly arranged parcels into bin bag fulls of ripped wrapping paper, the kids pulled their crackers and eagerly tucked into their Christmas dinner at the table. Though I’d usually spend hours writing lists, prepping, and stressing over timings for various dishes, this year I seemed to have everything sorted …
