The elf made an unwelcome return as December arrived and whilst E was over the moon that her annual elfy friend had returned for his annual visit, I on the other hand was struggling for elf-orientated ideas. Paul, being the inspired type, decided to have the elf dump the decorations in the living room with a request that we arrange them accordingly ready for the silly season thus we spent Saturday putting together and dressing a tree that’s somehow half a foot shorter than last year.
