Life on the go is the best life to have. We think it’s so important to live more of an active lifestyle, and to enrich your life with many different experiences from a young age, so that you can one day look back on your life and think, ‘yeah, I did that’.
Sometimes however, when you have so many different things going on in your life, you just know that it’s not as easy as that. Keeping your life on the go revolves around going to work, keeping the house clean, and keeping up with your friends and family where you possibly can.…
Now the kids are back at School, I am finally getting myself back into some form of routine and it feels really good. In just three days I’ve managed to get a crap load of jobs done and hopefully come this time next week when E starts her ‘morning’ School routine I might just find a little time to myself.
Despite E being out of the house for only two hours each afternoon I still miss her terribly and it doesn’t matter how many people tell me that she’s settled and safe, I cannot help but to worry. Our little Princess is no longer a pre-schooler, she is now a fully fledged four-year old with attitude and shiny, patent school shoes to boot!…
Please excuse my blogging silence, I haven’t felt 100% this week and as a result have done very little other than keep the kids entertained or at least alive over the past few days.
I haven’t really felt up to blogging recently, I don’t feel that there’s an awful lot for me to share as of late. I’ve found myself writing numerous posts filled with torrid rants regarding issues which shouldn’t really be shared online or offline for that matter which has resulted in me refraining from hitting the ‘publish’ button many times over.
Rather than ranting, raving or writing recklessly I’d far prefer to publish positive, humorous, informative posts which will interest my readers rather than send them running for the hills.…
We are once again at the end of another weekend, it won’t be long before the summer holidays are upon us and weekdays will blur into weekends as we take a well-deserved rest from the regular routine.
I have always been a sucker for routine, I like to know when, where and what I’m doing and whilst I welcome the holidays I must admit that I find the lack of routine sets me on edge somewhat. Thinking back to the Christmas break I was barely able to fathom which day of the week it was until routine returned.
I have fond memories of being a Teacher, I had a strict routine, I had planners filled with lists, schedules and almost each and every hour of my day was planned to perfection.…
Well the sunshine has packed up its bags and naffed off back to wherever it came from. The rain has returned forcing us back indoors which is becoming rather frustrating for both E and I given that last week we were out and about having fun down at the park and going for walks on the beach.
Ah well, we will have to suffice with board games, play dough, baking, painting, crafting and good old Disney DVD’s until the sunshine makes a come back. I actually quite enjoy sitting at the table playing games with the kids despite having to rig the games by hook or by crook so that the kids get to win.…
