We are fairly rigid in our routine, especially so when it comes to bedtime. We usually give the kids their supper whilst they watch a cartoon or two on the couch, they then have their baths and get ready for bed before settling down with a book or two. This evening, however, we mixed things up a little and it’s been quite nice to do things a little differently.
