I don’t always find it easy writing lists of the things that I have ‘liked and loved’ throughout the month, especially so during 2020. This year has brought so much sorrow and upset, it’s often difficult to dredge through the despair to find the light within the dark. However, this month I have made a concerted effort (not only for the kids but also for myself) to smile and to celebrate the magic moments where and when possible – Here are a few of the moments which I have ‘liked and loved’ throughout the month of May. Touch wood, homeschooling seems to be going really well of late! The kids have been working really hard, so well in fact that our little lady has been awarded with the Lighthouse Award! This meant that we had to create some sort of lighthouse for E to hold for photographic purposes. Meanwhile the kids celebrated their academic success at their recent presentation ceremony where E scooped a teachers award! J meanwhile picked up a well-deserved book prize for his fantastic progress. It was awesome to watch both J & E take to the stage to collect their medals, books, and certificates. Though being the emotionally mushy, proud parent that I am, I couldn’t help but shed a tear or …
