So here we are at the end of February already. Time seems to be slipping by like sand through my fingers of late but I guess that’s life, especially so when you’re a working and very busy parent. February may be a short month but blimey it was busy! Especially so for the kids with their studies, school, after-school clubs, activities, appointments, and suchlike. Thankfully we had the half-term holidays mid-month so we were able to switch off the alarm and relax for a few days. I feel as if we’ve been confined to our four-wall fortress for the past week, though given that J isn’t feeling entirely himself at present, there’s very little else that we could do. I’ve spent the past four days sat with J in his room playing games, reading books, watching movies and keeping him company whilst he convalesces. Though we usually set time limits for tech, there has been nothing of the sort for our little soldier at present.
