Following the completion of our extension Paul and I spent a great deal of time decorating, furnishing and adding the finishing touches to our beautiful new bedroom and en suite bathroom.

Unboxing & Fitting The Lima Faux Wood Blinds

The blinds arrived promptly and perfectly packaged. Having unboxed the blinds we found detailed instructions were provided which were easy to fathom and to follow.

My husband Paul very quickly established which tools he would require and set about the job with full confidence whilst I walked around with my camera to snap a few shots here and there.

Paul very quickly drilled the fittings into place and set about placing the blinds correctly into the window space. We then adjusted the cords to a safe length using the safety snappers (included). Having fitted the blinds correctly Paul then added the facia to cover the blind fittings and the job was done, it really was as simple as that!

Using The Blinds

Having cleaned up the dust (from the drilling) and put my ornaments and photo back into place upon the windowsill I stood back to admire our bedroom finally finished in its full glory. Not only do the blinds offer much-needed privacy but they also block out the light entirely when adjusted resulting in a full nights rest without any early wake ups due to the early sun rises with it being Spring.

The blinds look stunning and have seem to have transformed the room entirely. No longer does our room just resemble a bog-standard bedroom it now feels much like we are sleeping in a posh, hotel room far away from home. It really is Worlds apart from what we had only a few months ago, it’s certainly been worth the wait, the dust, the cost, the hard work and the effort required to achieve results.
