Published by Schiffer in 2013, the Higher Intuitions Oracle is a forty-four-card nature-based oracle deck written by world-renowned psychic Kristy Robinett and illustrated by Johna Gibson Bowman.
It is said by many that angels and guides often send us signs and symbols in order to aid us along our paths of enlightenment. Animals are indeed all around us each day, either as living, breathing types or often as pictures and songs. With simplistic beauty and a touch of whimsy, The Higher Intuitions Oracle uses a range of animals and nature-inspired imagery to portray signs and symbols in order to convey intuitive messages.
Packaging & Presentation
The Higher Intuition Oracle arrives packaged and presented in a sturdy, glossy, decorative box featuring a ribbon pull tab and hinges. Whilst the packaging is stylish and sturdy, it is also swamped with cardboard inserts and wadding to pad out a huge section of space in the box. It feels as if the box has been mismeasured or there is half a deck of cards missing – either way, the packaging should have ideally been measured and made to size.
The Guidebook
The Higher Intuitions Oracle comes with a 128-page, black and white guidebook featuring dedications, acknowledgments, thank you notes, an introduction, a short guide on how to use the oracle cards, some spread suggestions, information upon the author and artist, along with a guide to each card within the deck identifying the keywords and meaning.
The Cards
The Higher Intuitions Oracle is printed on a glossy, thick card with rounded corners and plain edging. This deck features borderless owl-themed, reversible card backs (though this is not required as unlike Tarot, the cards are intended to be read upright only) whereas the front of the cards have a bordered image with a clear keyword written in italic style writing.
Due to the glossy finish of these cards, this is quite a stiff deck to shuffle as the cards can become easily stuck together. I personally prefer a matt-finish but this is something that each reader differs upon.

The Higher Intuitions Oracle features beautiful, bright, bold, nature-based imagery with clear, easy-to-read keywords ideal for accompanying a Tarot reading to add further clarification. I’ve been using this deck alongside my Tarot readings for over a fortnight now and have found that it compliments and clarifies readings beautifully.
Whilst I’ve personally chosen to pair this deck with Tarot readings, the Higher Intuitions Oracle may be used alone and is ideal for readers of all abilities and ages.
