First published by Red Feather in May 2023, the Dream Your Joy Oracle is a fifty-nine-card oracle deck designed and created by Judy Mastrangelo.
Judy Mastrangelo
Judy Mastrangelo is an author, teacher, and artist who draws and paints using a wide range of genres and subjects though specifically enjoys fantasy, fairytales, and new-age art. Inspired by the great artists from the Italian Renaissance, the Pre-Raphealites (such as John W Waterhouse), Maxfield Parrish, Sir Joseph Noel Paton, and the likes of Beatrix Potter’s animal people and flower fairies, Judy uses a particular technique that she refers to as ‘Mind Painting’ to develop and create her imaginative work.
Packaging & Presentation
The Dream Your Joy Oracle arrives perfectly packaged in a sturdy card, magnetic-closing, book-styled cardboard box ideal for presentation purposes. I love how this book appears like a dictionary or a book when placed on a shelf, it’s really neat!
The Guidebook
The Dream Your Joy Oracle Cards arrive with a colour-printed, 129-page guidebook that includes a clear contents page (ideal for locating information on particular cards), an introduction, information on the purpose of the deck, information on mind painting, information about the cards, and a double-page spread explaining each and every card in detail with a clear, colour image of each card.
The Cards
The Dream Your Joy Oracle is a large deck featuring dusky pink card backs with dandelion clocks, plain white edging, and borderless water-color, fantasy-style imagery with a white banner at the base of each card labeling and identifying the title and meaning of each card.
These large Oracle cards are matt in texture and thick in quality resulting in a super smooth shuffle when in use.

Reading & Working with the Dream Your Joy Oracle
I have spent the past fortnight reading and working with the Dream Your Joy Oracle and so far I’ve found the deck to be very insightful and inspiring. I’m really fond of Judy’s fantasy-style artwork and am rather keen on the positive, encouraging, and emotive aspirations and messages that the cards deliver.
Though I’ve used the Dream Your Joy Oracle as a standalone Oracle deck, I’ve also combined it with various Tarot decks to provide further information and guidance during readings. Thus far I’ve found this deck to be a very gentle, easy, and kind set of cards to read and work with.
