Crossing The Line From Fact To Fiction

I quite often see things, read things and hear things that are quite probably a lie. Theres a bleeping good reason they term the internet as ‘the virtual World’ as its precisely that virtual.

Lets be honest, lets face facts folks… Life is far from a fairy tale. Theres no way that all those smug shots slapped on everybody’s Fakebook walls or Instasham pages can all be real. I will happily admit I’ve taken many photographs of neat, tidy rooms with the full knowledge that lurking behind the door is a pig sty in much need of a clean.

Crossing The Line From Fact To Fiction

It makes you wonder though doesn’t it… What we see, read and what we are told may all be fiction. How much of the media that we trawl each day is actually worth wasting our time upon? It’s definitely questionable thats for sure.

The World in which we live has gone to ‘Lala land’, it’s utterly bonkers and yet here we are. We have arrived at a time when nothing is quite as it seems. It’s all a bit ‘blah’ really…

I want to be honest, I want to be open and whilst I try my damned hardest to be exactly that there are some things which I may think or feel that I would never dare type or share. There are some things which are to be kept private and personal and I think that goes for everyone.

I may seem like a loud mouth to some, the girl that shares absoloutly everything. Trust me though, your secrets are safe as I have a line and whilst at times after two bottles of wine perhaps it may become a little blurry I would never dare cross it.

So please, take a moment… consider what you see, read and hear. For only you will ever know your own truths, only you will ever feel what you feel and only you will ever be able to differentiate fact from fiction.

It is what it is

Karen, the next best thing to mummy April 25, 2017 - 10:08 am

This is so true, I met with some old school friends for lunch yesterday one in particular seems to have it all if you look at her Facebook status, money to have brand new cars, fantastic holiday and a marriage made in heaven, but after a drink or two loosened her tongue the truth came out and I actually realised that although I am a disabled stroke survivor my life is as good if not better than hers!#tuesdaytreasures @_karendennis

I wrote a similar post on Monday…it’s a very fine line between ‘rose tinted’ and ‘fake’. I want to come across as genuine but at the same time I’m not about to post photos of my filthy oven or the state of my downstairs loo! #tuesdaytreasures
