Brilliant Baby Based Role Play With The Baby Annabell Potty Training Set

Whilst I am absolutely 100% certain that my days of procreation have ceased my daughter E seems to think otherwise as she adores babies. If we happen to see a little one being pushed along in their pram or a baby is sat playing whilst we are at toddler group E cannot help but to get up close and personal.

A few years ago E’s Grandparents treated E to her first ever baby doll and pram set which as you can imagine was an instant hit. With E being that bit older yet still baby mad her Grandparents very kindly updated the pram with a more realistic push chair and the doll with a more life-like, interactive Baby Annabell.…

The Lalaloopsy Babies Potty Surprise Doll – The Doll That Sh**s Shapes!

Our Daughter, The Doll Devotee

My daughter E is the typical ‘girly girl’, she loves anything glittery, fluffy or pink and seems to take great pleasure in playing with stereotypical little girls toys including dolls which she has continuously collected throughout the years.

We have had almost every doll imaginable: realistic baby dolls, Barbie dolls, dolls that can be dressed up, dolls that cry, dolls that pee and now we have the doll that can poop! Seriously…

Mission Potty Training Accomplished!

It has been precisely one month since we first began ‘mission potty training’ with our Little Princess. I am proud to report that our little lady has mastered the art of using the potty and even better, the toilet too! E no longer requires nappies during the daytime which has already saved us a small fortune and a ton of bag space, which meant that I could finally treat myself to a new handbag, cheers Princess!

Starting Out

The first few days were difficult in all honesty, we asked E whether she needed the potty every ten to twenty minutes and I was beginning to feel like a broken record.…

The Accomplishment Parade

The past two days have been filled with accomplishments, I for one managed to tick off several items of my never-ending ‘to do’ list including arranging for a planner to visit our house to measure up and make plans for an extension.

For the past two years we have been hoping to extend our house. We want to build over the garage to create an extra bedroom and en suite for ourselves, then move J into our room and E into J’s room to provide both kids with a bigger and better bedroom, as well as a small study for homework purposes.…

Potty Training Day 1

For those of you that follow me on social media, you have probably already seen my posts and updates regarding our first day of potty training. The weather was glorious, apparently ideal for potty training according to all of those who have told me to ‘wait until the weather is warmer’ until I embarked upon the potty training palava. I decided to dress E appropriately for the task in hand and rather than putting her in the usual long-sleeved top and leggings or jeans with a nappy hiding underneath of course, we opted for a long-sleeved top, skirt and tots bots cloth trainer pants combination because less is more and all of that malarky, well it is certainly ‘more’ useful when potty training anyhow!…
