The Summer Holidays Are Kicking My Backside

It seems the summer holidays are kicking my backside as I cannot seem to find the time to fart never mind to blog! The past few weeks have been endless chaos with holidays, parties, gatherings, appointments, interviews, work and keeping the kids entertained.

I’m hoping that once school starts that I’ll find some sort of routine and get back on the blogging bus, until then I’m living each day as it comes, flying by the seat of my pants all whilst trying to spin hundreds of plates with very little balance.

I am usually an organised, structured kind of gal but recently I seem to have lost my grip upon things a little. I have so many things that I need to do, so many articles that I am yet to write, far too many jobs that are sat waiting for my attention and none of which I seem to have the time to get sorted, it’s so frustrating but give it a little time and I should be able to find order.

I need a hair cut, I need my eyebrows waxing, I need a brain transplant too come to think of it! Theres a tonne of things I need none of which I can do sod all about until next week when I have appointments booked here, there and everywhere.

The kids are starting to rip into each other on a daily basis, sibling rivalry and general all out war seems to be a regular issue. I try my blumming hardest to keep them both busy, entertained and ‘happy’ but it seems damn near impossible and I’m beginning to wonder if their endless squabbling is purely to wind me up.

It’s only just turned 12.30pm and I’m fancying a glass of wine. Is that wrong?! Considering that a fortnight ago I was throwing back the Archers come 10am without a care in the World it can’t be that wrong, right?

Apologies for what seems like a rather pointless and rushed post but I just wanted to let you know that I am still here, I’m just a little distracted by life at present.
