Mastering The Art of Arokah

After spending most of the night wide awake coughing and spluttering I admitted defeat and headed downstairs to locate the phone and ring in sick. Whilst on my way down the stairs I failed to notice the rather large Nerf gun which had been left in my tracks and took a tumble smashing my elbow against the wall. Needless to say I’m not having the best day, not only am I finding it hard to breath but I can barely move for the pain which is shooting up and down my arm.

Thankfully I can still type so long as I position my arm correctly, thus I thought I’d take this opportunity of dismal downtime to sit with my box of tissues, a cold drink and my Macbook in order to share something rather wonderful which I came across during the Christmas break.…

#LivingArrows – Merry Christmas 52/52 (2017)

Christmas day sure flew by in a flash, the kids had the most amazing day and were spoilt rotten as were Paul and I. We spent this morning huddled around the tree opening parcels for well over an hour before meeting up with the in-laws to thank them for their gifts and to share some Christmas cuddles.

We then drove to my folks house where my Mother and I put together Christmas dinner whilst the kids played and the boys went out to the pub for a few pints. Dinner was delicious and although I eat far less these days I made sure to make some serious space for my Mothers home-made Christmas pudding and brandy sauce which as always was a hit.…

#MySundayPhoto – Twas The Night Before Christmas

Twas the Night Before Christmas when all through the house were restless children and a crap load of presents to put out…

The kids have had their bath, their books and are both settled in bed

Yet they are so excited they are still wide awake leaving us parents with our glasses of wine and soon a sore head.

Santa is waiting to visit and I guess he’s going to be late

Sod it I’ll pour another vino and chat on WhatsApp with my mate.

The sacks are empty much like my glass (again) and I can’t wait to get cracking with the Christmas stuff

If only our little ones were sleepy enough.…

#LittleLoves – Back To Vlogging, Sheryl Crow & Seasonal Stories

Christmas has finally arrived, the kids are home for the school holidays and Paul and I are just about ready for the big day. As you can imagine with having two kids, work and Christmas just around the corner it’s been a busy week.

I’ve yet to work one final shift behind the bar before I can officially relax and enjoy Christmas. Until then I’m ploughing on as usual whilst trying to entertain two over excited children, that and care for a rather smelly and senile dog, it’s all fun and games in our house this week!

Despite being busy beyond belief I’ve certainly enjoyed the past seven days and for that reason writing this weeks edition of #LittleLoves seems almost too easy.…

Simple Solutions For Smart Phones With Popsockets

I’m not sure about you but I’m a sucker for having an oversized phone, not only am I half blind so require a large screen to actually see what I’m sending but I also enjoy the fact that I have something between a phone and a tablet in terms of size, my IPhone 7 Plus very quickly made our IPad redundant, this freed up the IPad for E who has since covered her beloved tablet with a Frozen cover and made it her own.

Having a large phone is great but it can give you achy┬áhands should you use it for any length of time and as such I’ve been searching for a solution which I found in the form of ‘Popsockets‘.…
