Like most of the UK we have been baking in the heat for the past couple of weeks. Although we are sun lovers and like to make the most of the good weather, there comes a point when a person can have too much sun and I think point is right about now. The kids have spent hours running in and out of the paddling pool over the past few days and whilst they are greatly enjoying all the outdoor entertainment, they too are beginning to tire of the heat. This evening however we managed to acquire a fan, this …
Once upon a time I would spend time each week collecting scenic shots specially for My Sunday Photo posts, these days I haven’t the time nor currently the energy to do so. Given that we’ve spent the bulk of our weekend lazing on the lawn, I decided it was more apt to post a paddling pool picture taken earlier today. The temperatures are soaring at almost thirty degrees and being a redhead I don’t fare well in the heat, neither do our kids or the dogs for that matter. We are all utterly exhausted by the heat but despite feeling drained, we’ve …

I have listed some of my favoured moments from the month in this months instalment of things which I have #LikedandLoved Getting Back To Blogging As you may have (or not have) noticed I took a bit of a break from …
Whilst I was busy enjoying a beach ride, my children were just around the corner at the next beach taking a stroll with our rather beautiful basset hounds. Much like myself, Molly and Maisy are rather partial to a plod along the shore. Both J & E love to take their leads and to show off our hounds by walking them here, there and everywhere. They may be rather smelly and incredibly noisy dogs but we love them despite their drooling, their barmy barking, Maisy’s love for shoes and their total ignorance towards our personal space. Basset Bliss The kids …
Part of our weekly weekend routine has always been to watch a movie or to play board games around the table as a family. I find this time together to sit and unwind before yet another busy week ahead does wonders for us all, that and it brings us together to have fun and games without any distractions. We did precisely this last night and what a lot of laughs we had! Cobra Paw We were recently sent the Cobra Paw game to rate and review as part of the Bloggers Board Game Club. Published by Bananagrams, Cobra Paw is a fast …
