Why Do We Bother? Eating Out With a Toddler…

The question I pose here is the following: Why do I continually think it is a good idea to eat out with our two year old? Each time we have a horrific meal out, I swear to mr d that we will never, ever, EVER do it again.…

Project Playhouse- Step One Complete

As I’ve already mentioned in a recent post, we have been keeping our eyes peeled for an elevated wooden playhouse for E. I have spent a fair few hours trawling the web to try to seek out a ‘shed on stilts’ but struggled to find anything under £200 which was worth the money.

Last week Paul somehow found the perfect playhouse which needed some work but was fairly priced and was being sold locally. After some serious sweating and swearing my Father in Law and Hubby managed to move said ‘shed on stilts’ from just around the corner to our back garden.…

It all began when HolidayGems contacted us to let us know that they could no longer honour the price that had originally quoted us online as “it simply wasn’t possible”.

I spent ten to fifteen minutes on the phone speaking arguing with some guy that seemed to think that it was highly amusing that I had ever believed it to be possible to achieve an all-inclusive holiday for the price that their website had actually quoted. …

#MySundayPhoto – Farm Play

I have a bit of a thing about wooden toys, our house is therefore cluttered with a vast array of traditional toys one of which is this ELC Farm Set which both of our children love. E decided to really ‘get into’ playing with this the other day and I couldn’t help but to take a photo. It was adorable watching her curled up on the toy box talking to the moo cows… …
