Paul and I have just arrived back from a ‘child-free’ evening at the cinema, despite being surrounded by kids whilst we were there reminding me that we were missing our own little treasures I really enjoyed the time out being just the two of us. It’s not often that we get a night to ourselves but when we do we certainly make the most of it!
This week seems to have been ram jammed with random activities for both the children and ourselves, it may have been busy but at no point has it been boring! Here are a few of my #LittleLoves from the chaos which has been the past seven days.…
Mothers Day is just around the corner, what am I saying? It’s the bleeping weekend! Have I got anything planned as of yet? Errr no unless you count pulling pints behind the local bar which I am certain will be scintillating as always. Given that it will be a Sunday (as Mother’s Day always is) I can at least guarantee that I will be in good company as Ali and Duane usually pop in over the weekend which often results in much laughter.
Following my bar shift I am planning to pop in to see my Mum and to pass on a few gifts.…
Since moving house almost five years ago Paul and I have found ourselves groaning at the garden year in year out as despite endless prodding, poking and pruning we still have the worst drainage imaginable resulting in a garden akin to a swamp.
At one side of the garden we have a rather dated greenhouse which I fear could pose potential danger for the kids and a shed, which in my opinion faces the wrong direction and is placed slap bang in the muddiest portion of the garden making accessing said shed near impossible unless you dare venture down the uneven concrete slab path which is also caked in crap.…

Welcome to another week of #LivingArrows where I share a picture of each of my children. Our kids like to monkey around climbing, kicking and keeping active whilst giving us parents early heart failure as we desperately try to keep them alive on a daily basis.
E is forever being told to get down from this, that and the other. I swear I must say “get down young lady” at least ten times a day and despite telling her on a daily basis it never really seems to sink in.
Whether it’s climbing things at the park that technically shouldn’t be climbed upon, walking along the top of the sofa or scaling her brothers bunk bed, E is a natural climber and loves nothing more than to scale great heights no matter how many times she’s told otherwise.…
