#Living Arrows – Too Busy Living To Point And Shoot

Welcome to another week of #LivingArrows. I have barely taken any pictures of the kids this week, go ahead and slap my wrist as I must obviously be a terrible Mother far too self consumed to concentrate on her children, that or I’ve been far too busy actually spending time entertaining my munchkins rather than spending time taking snap shots. Take your pick, I know for sure which the answer is.

I am therefore resorting to ‘pinching pictures’ from the hubbys phone for this weeks #LivingArrows contribution. I am actually fairly impressed by these photos given that they were taken with a phone, a phone that hasn’t got a piece of fruit engraved onto the back that is!…

#MySundayPhoto: Holding Back The Years With Simply Red

I had such an amazing day at Cartmel Races yesterday that I thought I ought to share one of my favourite snaps from the evening, when I saw ‘Simply Red’ live in concert along with two of my good friends Vicky and Viv. #FessUpFriday with Karen Dennis

Welcome to another week of #FessUpFriday

This weeks #FessUpFriday instalment comes from Karen Dennis, a Mum, Step Mum and Grandparent from North Devon. In the past Karen has worked as a child minder and pre-school development worker, she therefore has plenty of experience with children! Karen now blogs as ‘TheNextBestThingToMum’ over at https://karendennis1.wordpress.com

When I was child minding, a child pulled down another child’s trousers and pants, this just happened to take place in front of an Ofsted inspector. The child told her “We always get naked at Karen’s house!”

I would like to thank Karen for sharing a short, sweet but side-splitting ‘Friday Funny’ for this weeks #FessUpFriday.…

#LittleLoves – The End Of An Era

Welcome to another week of #LittleLoves. It’s been a busy week as we are on the count down to half term and suddenly it seems like there are a hundred and one jobs which all need to be done before the weekend. It’s been hectic and my heads not really in the game as such thanks to having a crappy chest infection but I’ll give it my best shot, so here goes.

I purchased a years ‘Ideal Home’ magazine subscription last February and whilst I am fairly sure that I should no longer be receiving a copy of this mag each month, I don’t mind if I do!…

Living Arrows – Smiles From Within

Welcome to another week of ‘Living Arrows‘. Each week I share two photographs of my children to celebrate their progress in the walk of life. Here are this weeks contributions:

Here is my super seven-year old with his favourite Birthday gift. In this photo he is of course playing Minecraft, his favourite game that he was also given for his birthday. J will soon be joining the local Minecraft club and attending meetings each Friday to do whatever it is you do on the game that I can only liken to catnip for kids. I am pretty sure that he will enjoy the new club as from what I’ve heard it’s right up his street.…
