Welcome to this weeks #LivingArrows back to school special edition.
I have to admit that whilst I was dreading E starting nursery and leaving me on my lonesome, today actually went pretty well all things considering.
At first I just wandered around the house wondering how E was settling in and whether J was enjoying his first day in the juniors.
After I gave my head a wobble, I made a start on the chores and let me tell you that it’s blumming amazing how much you can get done without a little helper in tow.
I managed to clean the house top to bottom, hoover, list thirty items on eBay, sort out all my photos and start uploading them for printing, wrap up birthday parcels, nip to town to pick up some shopping, get three loads of washing done, order the kids some new clothes and fit in a coffee or two along the way.…
A few months back we had some photographs taken of us together as a family by the wonderful and rather talented Jenna Carpenter. I finally managed to get hold of my very own copy of said photographs this afternoon and thought I ought to share some snaps with you.
Flicking through the shots made me think back to that summer evening running around in the fields listening to the children giggle with glee as Jenna chased them around with her camera trying to get some decent shots of my buzz bombs.
I want to try to arrange a photo shoot at least every other year, the kids are growing so fast and trying to capture memories of us all together as a family is important to me.…
It has been a pretty bleak week truth be told. I haven’t really had the heart nor inclination to sit down and write and therefore this weeks #LittleLoves may be lacking somewhat, like myself in many ways.
I haven’t read diddly squat this week, not a single sausage! Most of my reading has taken place through the sending and receiving of messages from friends and family.
Paul and I enjoyed watching the first episode of John Bishop’s new chat show ‘In Conversation With…’. The series began with John interviewing James Corden, I’ll be honest we weren’t sure whether we’d be all that interested as James can be similar to marmite at times as you tend to either love him or hate him.…

Welcome to this weeks edition of #Living Arrows which I will be sharing some snaps of the kids taken whilst out on a trip to ‘Greenlands Farm Village‘.
We were lucky once again as the sun was beaming, the kids seemed supercharged and the drive wasn’t too horrendous considering that it was Bank Holiday Monday in The Lake District.
The kids were totally in their element running freely playing in hay lofts, riding mini tractors and driving go karts all whilst being surrounded by random animals merrily grazing.
