The Blog With The Booty
Each week one post which has been added to the #TuesdayTreasures linky is selected by myself to share with you all. I love finding new blogs to read. I often find that the best place to source new blogs are through reading my current subscriptions.
Tamsin from ‘Chasing Esme’ recently interviewed ‘Alina Davies’ from ‘We Made This Life’ as part of her ‘Blog Of The Month‘ series.…
With Christmas currently at the forefront of my mind it got me thinking how things have changed each Christmas for the past couple of years. I decided to use this weeks #LivingArrows post to take a little wander down memory lane to reflect on Christmas’s past.
J’s First Christmas
Here is J at my parents house on his first ever Christmas day, he is snuggled up to his Steiff Bear rolling around in his funky new walker. He seems so tiny in this photo, you can even make out the famous ‘crown’ stork marks on his forehead. Wow he’s grown and so many things have changed since way back then!…
So ‘D-day’ finally arrived, ‘D’ standing for decorations of course!
We usually dedicate a whole day to decorating our house for Christmas. It is a day that I once looked forward to but following having children began to despise! Rather than the sounds of soft, twinkly Christmas songs playing in the background as the tinsel was merrily being hung, there would be sounds of screaming and shouting as the children ransacked the boxes of decorations before the tree was even standing.

Personally I think J is a little lazy when it comes to reading books and as I like to keep him challenged I have asked for his school to provide us with some higher-level reading books which may stretch J a little further in terms of his reading ability.…
It’s officially the season to be jolly fa-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la! The advent calendars were neatly laid out this morning ready for the kids to snack on chocolate before breakfast because that’s what Christmas is all about right? Having eaten todays chocolate allowance E then proceeded to fill her wooden advent calendar with Shopkins, she sure knows how to make a massive mess in less than a minute!
The kids were over the moon that December has finally arrived, it means that we can decorate the house for Christmas and count down to the big day.
I am 99% done in terms of Christmas shopping and J and I have completed writing hundreds of Christmas cards which are now sat on the piano ready to be sent. …
