Another month has gone by like the blink of an eye and as always I am going to take a moment to reflect upon the past thirty days and to highlight some of the many things that I have ‘Liked and Loved’ during June.
It’s the almost the end of yet another school year and as the summer holidays draw ever closer there is once again a sudden surge of activities which the kids are to take part in from trips, residential visits and days out to sports days and presentation afternoons.
It’s all go just as the children were the other week on the sports field.…
Welcome to this weeks edition of the ‘Blogging Behind The Scenes’ series. Throughout the ‘Blogging Behind The Scenes’ series both myself and a group of bloggers will be sharing our experiences and advice upon a range of blogging related topics, this week we are discussing the basic equipment bloggers require in order to go about blogging.
When I first began blogging back in the dark ages yes I was one of the minority that chose to write an online journal back in the nineties I relied solely upon a computer and an internet connection a seriously slow dialup connection using a 56k modem which would prevent family or friends from making any telephone contact whatsoever whilst in use.…
Welcome to this weeks edition of #LivingArrows, a weekly post in which I share a couple of snaps of my beautiful children. I call them beautiful children but I will wholly admit that there are moments when I find it rather difficult to call them anything of the sort considering the behaviour that they chose to display from time to time.
Kids will be kids but bleeding hell are they challenging little sods! I swear to god as J gets older he finds more and more buttons to press which will either result in an explosion of anger, upset or sheer frustration from either his sister or us, his parents.…

I have always been a sucker for routine, I like to know when, where and what I’m doing and whilst I welcome the holidays I must admit that I find the lack of routine sets me on edge somewhat. Thinking back to the Christmas break I was barely able to fathom which day of the week it was until routine returned.
I have fond memories of being a Teacher, I had a strict routine, I had planners filled with lists, schedules and almost each and every hour of my day was planned to perfection.…
Given that I’m feeling like crap warmed up I’ve not really felt much like snapping photos this weekend. I did however have a little time earlier in the week to get close up and personal with the flowers at my in-laws.
I love the colour red but am sadly unable to wear anything of this shade or colour as being a ‘ginge’ it clashes terribly with my hair.
I have often toyed with the idea of buying a pair of red heels or a red handbag to accessorise my daily shades of black. I guess a little colour may brighten my look but it’s either red or dead with me as I find it very difficult to pull off this colour successfully.…
