We have been so very lucky with the weather recently, the kids have been able to get outside, to get some fresh air and have to some fun.
I love seeing the kids being active, watching them bounce on the trampoline, chase each other on their scooters and master how to ride a bike. E has a long was to come before her stabilisers are removed, she much prefers to be pulled or pushed around which can be tricky when she also wishes to keep up with her seven-year old brother.
With Christmas coming I am starting to consider what Santa may bring. My son was recently given the chance to have a go on a friends Swegway and hasn’t stopped talking about it since. Whilst J realises this is an expensive gift he has suggested that he would be happy receiving just this one gift, bless! I for one would like to see him have a few other things to open on Christmas day and will be saving my pennies to ensure that this is the case. I just need to source a fairly priced, safe and reliable Swegway to order in time for the man in the red suit.
I had a quick look at the Razor Hovertrax and ISkute on Skate Hut the other day and was fairly impressed by some of the products and prices. Whilst perusing their site I also found a range of other equipment such as Santa cruz skateboards and roller skates both of which would be ideal gifts for the kids.
I would love my children to try some old school outdoor toys, I remember spending endless hours of fun roller booting around the village when I was younger, I would like to see my kids do the same. I am not sure whether J would be up for it as last time he tried roller boots they were adjustable and he found it very difficult to stay up right. I did however spot an awesome pair of Heeleys which I am fairly certain he would be happy to give a go!
I quite fancy a pair of Heeleys myself, can you imagine? Shopping would certainly be a whole lot quicker, can you imagine rolling down the aisles? I would probably forget half the shopping I’d be having too much fun!

I’ve never seen those before but they look awesome. I was cajoled in to having a go on a scooter at a recent visit to my daughters class although I was reluctant at first it was loads of fun I never mastered roller skates as a kid but I did love my bike. #TuesdayTreasures
Santa has pretty much bought everything now, and he’ll only be buying stuff that are for filling up the stockings as far as Esme is concerned (he told me).
There’s something about a swegway that I don’t like. I’ve seen so many people fall off them in videos on Facebook, which makes me a bit concerned with regards to their safety!
Mind you, people fall off things all the time! I used to love rollerblading and skateboarding when I was younger, and I never wore a helmet. God knows how I survived! Haha!
