My children have the most wonderful collection of footwear but should you ask them what they’d most favour to wear it would without a doubt be their Wellington boots. The kids seem to have the most fun whilst wearing their welly boots, whether it’s jumping in muddy puddles, blasting along the beach, getting into gardening or wading in the water.
We have recently ordered new wellington boots for the children as their boots are that well-worn the lining has now separated from the rubber boots. My own boots have also seen better days so along with the chocolate eggs and fluffy chicks I think it may be new wellies all round this Easter!
The weather has been simply divine over the past few days. We were all out in the garden yesterday making the most of the sunshine, I was so hot whilst washing the garden toys ready for summer that I eventually got down to just shades, a tee shirt and thin leggings with Wellington boots of course!
Sadly whilst Paul and the kids continued to soak up the rays I had to leave for work. Whilst I was out pulling pints and swearing under my breath at the endless rudeness which seems to be thrown my way whilst at work Paul was busy on the beach keeping the kids entertained.
If only I could have joined them wading through the water rather than having to wade through the tirade of abuse which has become par for the cause these days. Anyhow, here is a snap which Paul shot and I couldn’t resist sharing.
Happy Sunday folks, I hope you have an ‘Egg-cellent Easter’! Thanks for reading and as always I look forward to catching up with your #MySundayPhoto pictures either through your own posts or comments upon this post.

My kids also love their wellies! I’ve not personally taken them to the beach but my Mam takes my eldest quite often. They go collecting seagrass together.
Oh no your work doesn’t sound fun at all! Especially on sunny days like today. Hope you can get out to enjoy more sun soon!
Thanks Rebecca x
