Whilst washing the pots a few weeks back I noticed that my finger seemed to sting when placed in soapy water and upon inspection I found that I had somehow collected a number of unexplainable cuts and scratches to the inside of my finger.
After checking around I couldn’t find any sharp implements in the water and there seemed to be no reason whatsoever for the sudden injury. It was only later when I went to remove my rings for bed that I noticed my engagement ring seemed rather sharp.
I took my beloved and rather precious engagement ring to the jewellers where they took a look. I was then informed that I was incredibly lucky not to have lost the diamond as the claws were on the brink of breaking thus felt spiky and sharp to the touch.
After almost three weeks of being without my bling, my engagement ring finally arrived back at the shop for me to collect following a full repair. I didn’t feel right somehow not wearing this ring, it is part of a set which I feel naked without and will forever treasure.
My bling is now back where it belongs, firmly wedged on my finger to sparkle forever more.
Thanks again for reading #MySundayPhoto post, as always I look forward to catching up with your #MySundayPhoto pictures either through your own posts or comments upon this post.

lucky to find out what the problem was when you did, glad the ring is fixed now it is very pretty #mysundayphoto
Thanks x
So lucky you didn’t lose the diamond! I know what you mean, I went out without my rings before Christmas as I take them off before I shower and forgot to put them back on so I went to M&S and bought a cheap bling ring to replace it so I didn’t feel so lost!
