Happy Sunday folks, it’s officially the end of yet another weekend and whilst I haven’t done an awful lot other than work bar shifts and nurse a hang over and half I’ve at least enjoyed my weekend for once.
The weathers been a bit off and although I’d love to be out in the garden getting drunk on the making use of the decking we’ve spent most of our weekend catching up on the housework and keeping the kids entertained with board games and such like indoors.
I often find myself gazing out of the window usually whilst scrubbing pots or busy typing at the laptop. Having stuck my nose out of the door earlier this week I found myself simply stunned by the sunset and having had my phone swiftly handed to me I snapped a few shots none of which did this amazing skyline any justice whatsoever.
This has to be one of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever witnessed and will remain etched in my memory for some time. I returned home hours later to find that many of my family and friends had also tried to capture this amazing view and having flicked through various photos I still cannot find any which capture the true beauty of that particular night.
Some things simply cannot be explained through speech, the written word or for that matter a photograph.
Thanks for reading and as always I look forward to catching up with your #MySundayPhoto pictures either through your own posts or comments upon this post.

It’s a stunning sunset; it looks like the sky is like a furnace but I do like the lovely turquoise. What amazing colours!

Thanks Tracey x
I know what you mean, I’ve seen so many gorgeous sunsets but I’ve never managed to capture them exactly as they are seen. It’s a fabulous photo though x
