Whilst en-route to the shops earlier this week I felt the urge to pull over and snap a few shots of my surroundings. It was a warm summers evening, the sky was a pale blue and the impending sunset gave the clouds a purple haze.
There was an air of magic to the evening, whether it was the fact that I had a bottle of Rose chilling in the fridge awaiting my return or simply that Id had a great day with a good friend gabbing in the garden… either way things felt good.
BBQs, beers, tunes, family, friendship and fun all to be lavished whilst lazing in the summer sun, there’s nothing quite like it. There’s definitely a feel good element to the summer time that no other time of year can match nor compete with.
We are only days away from the summer term coming to a close for the kids. We can then kick back and enjoy our time together without routine, fingers up to the alarm and thumbs up to free time!
I’ll have to get my thinking cap on though and plan a few activities and days out otherwise we will fall into the dreaded four wall syndrome which would result in boredom bedlam. Heres hoping that Mr Sunshine keeps his hat on and that we can make full use of our recent garden renovations rather than having to find indoor based activities to steer us from madness boredom.
Thanks for reading and as always I look forward to catching up with your #MySundayPhoto pictures either through your own posts or comments upon this post.

What a lovely photo, purple haze indeed. I’m so looking forward to the summer holidays, and hoping the weather stays good. We have three birthday’s to contend with but only one party this year. We are hoping for a BBQ to celebrate the little Man’s birthday, we might even get a bouncy castle in the garden for him.
