#MySundayPhoto – Pirate Long John Laundry

I’m afraid I won’t be sharing a scenic view for #MySundayPhoto this week as I haven’t had the time nor inclination to get out much with being so unwell. I will however share something equally as beautiful as a sunrise or sunset, that being my Son.

pirate

As you may have read in my previous posts, J is currently Pirate obsessed. A simple Pirate hat and bandana has led him to believe he is the next Captain J Sparrow. He may be seven-years old but he can still fit into my laundry basket which is precisely where I found him sailing across our bedroom the other day.

I am so glad that despite him growing up so quickly he is still able to happily play as a character. How great must it be to get into role and just for a moment become somebody else? I must try it sometime as the kids seem to have such fun dressing up in their fancy dress costumes.

Thanks again for reading and as always I look forward to catching up with your #MySundayPhoto pictures either through your own posts or comments upon this post.

Hi Rachel, Shannon here!

Boys are such fun. I’m currently expecting a son this May and I can already imagine the private theme taking off with him. J has such an adorable imagination and its nice too see such child like moments you two share. I be you two are having a blast together.

What an adventure he went on!

What lovely imaginative play. My son turned 8 and suddenly didn’t want to dress up anymore, so enjoy while you can! #MySundayPhoto
