My husband rather kindly took the children (and the dog) out for a wander along the River Lazy earlier today, this enabled me to have a few hours sat at my deck catching up on planning for the week ahead.
Looking at his pictures later this afternoon, I wish I had thrown caution to the wind and had joined them for some fresh air. I feel as if I’ve spent far too much time cooped up, although I’ve been advised to sit down and to relax, I’m getting a little fed up with festering.
Thankfully I feel a whole heap better following some decent rest over the weekend. With a little luck I can get back to giving it ‘full throttle’ this week and get back to being out and about, with the fresh air blowing through my mop whilst wearing a smile on my chops.
Lazy River Walks
“Watch me, Watch Me,
Am I different?
Am I strange to you?
Today I’m feeling free,
Today I think it’s finally me.
And my whole place is a dance floor,
I find myself mistaken now.
Today’s I’m feeling free,
Today I think it’s finally me.”
