Although I usually try to post images of a scenic nature on a Sunday, we’ve barely been out this week due to our recent addition. Whilst we’ve only had Maisy for just over four days or so we’ve already fallen deeply in love with our dazzling doggy.
Maisy isn’t entirely house trained as of yet but she’s trying her hardest and seems to be getting it right 8/10 times. Considering that basset hounds aren’t entirely easy to train I’m pretty impressed with her progress and am sure that give it another week or two we should have a little less mess to clean.
Maisy seems to be learning the ropes pretty fast, come tomorrow though she is being taken out of her comfort zone for her visit to the vets, where she will be given her first set of jabs. I’m dreading it but will be much happier once we are able to take her out and about with us especially so during weekends and holiday time.
Maisy may be cute, she may have the most adorable waddle and sweetest woof but she can also be a bit of an imp at times. This afternoon for example Maisy spent the majority of her time stealing shoes from around the house, whilst I should really tell her off for this behaviour I couldn’t help but to giggle.
It’s basset bedlam in this household at present, if I’m not falling over our old girl Molly as she’s parked herself precariously then I’m being tugged at by our crazy Maisy. It may be chaos, it may be utterly exhausting at times but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Thanks again for reading #MySundayPhoto post, as always I look forward to catching up with your #MySundayPhoto pictures either through your own posts or comments upon this post.
