Our son J was invited to a ‘Grease’ themed party this week, he is yet to watch the movie but with teen pregnancies, smoking, ear-piercing and such like Paul and I have avoided letting him watch it just yet.
After browsing the outfits available, J decided to be a ‘T Bird’ requiring a leather jacket, white t-shirt and stone wash jeans. With a little ‘grease’ in his hair as an added extra J really looked the part. From what I gather he had a great time as did all the children who were there.
Here is a snap of the kids taken by Paul on my new Canon camera prior to the party. J really seemed to get into character as you can tell by the facial expression!

Happy Sunday peeps, I am totally shattered after a week of running about like a headless chicken. I have checked my diary and think that I may be able to relax in about four weeks time all being well.

Aw, I remember the first time I went as a Grease character to a party! Such happy memories. I still have my Pink Lady jacket from the school play all those years ago – I just can’t bring myself to throw out each time we have a clear out!
I remember watching the film for the first time at a tenth birthday party – happened to coincide with Grease’s 21st birthday year or something so it was EVERYWHERE and pretty hard to avoid!

Hate the film personally, reminds me of the morning sickness I had at the time and the flat mates who played the sound track and full blast. He does look a bit young yet I have to say. #MySundayPhoto
