Apologies for the rather late post but I’ve had yet another busy day, hopefully things will calm down a little now that it’s half term, on second thoughts who am I kidding?!
We’ve had a fantastic, fun-filled few weeks which at times has felt like its been none stop till I literally drop. I dropped just over a week ago with the most horrendous sore throat and despite having next to no voice then sounding much-like a man I continued to do my very best to troop on.
There were times when I crawled into a bed for a few hours extra rest here and there but us ladies need our beauty sleep right? I for one cannot cope without at least seven or eight hours sleep during the night and if I am unable to do so during the night then I almost always have to catch up during the day where possible.
Thankfully I feel heaps better now which is just as well given that half term has finally arrived. I may finally get the chance to catch up with the housework and to actually spend some time with my family without having to run around here, there and everywhere.
Speaking of family, here’s a shot of a table centre piece taken whilst at the family wedding this last time week. The flowers were quite simply beautiful, my Father in law along with my sister-in-laws Dad, Neil put the flowers together and what a fabulous job they did. There were so many colours, so many scents, each and every floral display was a sensory delight!
I was lucky enough to be given a few vases to bring home, I gave one vase to my Mum as a thank you for looking after our pooch while we were away, I then kept the other as fresh as possible in my windowsill to perk me up whilst I felt poorly.
I think I may have to start treating myself to the odd bouquet of flowers now and then to brighten the house up, either that or I may have to save some pennies and go foraging for flowers!
Did you know living without you is driving me insane
I’ll bring you flowers, I’ll make your day
The tears you cry, I’ll dry them all away”
Thanks for reading and as always I look forward to catching up with your #MySundayPhoto pictures either through your own posts or comments upon this post.
