I would have written this post earlier only my little lady took a sudden turn for the worst by throwing her stomach contents down the porcelain telephone, moments later we registered her temperature as scorchio and as a result our bed is now being occupied by our beloved daughter as she convalesces.
Here’s hoping that come morning the temperature has waned and that our little lady has turned a corner. I’m not planning on sending E to School as I don’t wish for her class friends to catch whatever bugs she may be harbouring but neither do I really want to have to wait around in the doctor’s surgery first thing tomorrow morning.
I’m hoping that twenty-four hours of cuddles on the couch, dozing on the duvet and movies with Mummy should do the trick.
The weather hasn’t helped, it’s bitterly cold outside, so cold that I was forced to scrape ice from both the inside and the outside of my windscreen before driving home from work last night! With the freezing temperatures, the wind, the rain, the sleet and the snow the kids have been stuck inside for the majority of the weekend which wasn’t entirely ideal.
We were hoping to get out and about with ‘Super Bear’ to snap some shots over the weekend as instructed by E’s School. I’m afraid snaps of Super Bear around the house and out on the odd shopping spree will have to suffice for the time being as we simply haven’t had the chance to do anything otherwise.
I’ve had it with the Winter, the dark dank nights, the wretched weather and the torturous temperatures. Bring on blue skies, bluebells and butterflies, Spring time cannot come soon enough!
“Oh yeah yeah yeah
Those blue skies are ahead
Blue skies are in my head
All the town clocks
And marching soldier’s socks
I say, Let’s go, let’s go, let’s go
To this magic wonder show”
