#MySundayPhoto – Blue Skies

Excuse my rather late ‘Sunday Photo’ but we’ve been ever so slightly busy celebrating a certain hunky husband’s birthday. That’s right, Paul turned 21 again today and to celebrate we had a lovely dinner at my in-laws then took the kids out to the swimming baths to have a splash and a swim.

It’s been a great day, Paul was spoilt rotten by his family and friends. We had a wonderful time together as a family and to top it all the weather has been splendid. There’s nothing quite like blue skies for lifting your spirits and making a good day into a great day. Whilst Paul drove us out towards civilisation I had the chance to snap this beauty…

The children spent last night at their Grandparents whilst Paul and I went out to our friends Engagement Party. What we had expected be to a fairly tame night soon turned a little messy and much fun was had.

I haven’t had so much fun in ages, it was great to meet up with friends for a much-needed night out and to meet a couple of new faces which I hope to see again in the future.

It seems that I married Prince Charming as Paul turned into a knight in shining armour, rescuing three families and one buffet from a long walk home! We were also given a luxury tour around the ultimate Lego fanatics dream home, it was certainly a interesting, fun-filled night!

All in all it’s pretty a pretty eventful weekend, I certainly haven’t had any time to sit down, to read the never ending emails or to write a blog post. Please excuse my silence but I’ve been a little too busy living… you know how is it!
